What you'll do
- Recruit, motivate, train, and evaluate technicians
- ensure compliance with regulations and manufacturer warranty procedures
- assign and monitor repair orders
- provide technical support
- verify repair quality and charges
- road-test vehicles
- manage comebacks and customer complaints
- maintain customer follow-up
- monitor productivity and payroll records
- oversee shop safety, cleanliness, equipment, and tools
- and fill in for service advisor or dispatcher when needed.
