Research and Development Supervisor

Job overview

The Research and Development Supervisor role is onsite in Maple Grove, MN, with pay of $48 per hour. The position provides laboratory leadership in a medical device environment, supporting product development, design verification testing, regulatory submissions, and other research and development initiatives. The supervisor leads laboratory personnel and operations, setting priorities and allocating resources for testing and project deliverables. The role also develops laboratory capabilities, monitors performance, and partners across functions to maintain quality and support organizational objectives.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop laboratory personnel through coaching and mentoring
• prioritize testing, method development, and project deliverables
• oversee daily laboratory operations and quality compliance
• plan laboratory capabilities, infrastructure, resources, equipment, and capital investments
• drive continuous improvement
• communicate operational metrics and project status
• partner with design assurance, regulatory affairs, process development, manufacturing, clinical, and quality teams.
