What you'll do

• Prepare patients for dental procedures
• provide patient care and chairside assistance
• take radiographs
• sterilize instruments
• set up operatories
• assist with medical and dental emergencies when necessary
• track therapy
• provide information on dental hygiene and oral health
• gather and record medical and dental histories and vital signs
• follow postoperative care instructions
• maintain dental equipment.
