What you'll do

• Follow up on small meeting and event inquiries, qualify customer needs, negotiate contracts and banquet event orders, identify and price event needs, upsell where possible, and close sales. Coordinate group details and changes with hotel departments
• present potential business at Driver Meetings
• conduct client and staff meetings
• finalize catering plans
• prospect for new business
• monitor blocked space
• maintain account files
• serve as onsite contact
• distribute event orders and resumes
• verify room setups
• and review event sheets.
