What you'll do

• Answer and triage patient calls, assess needs, direct callers to solutions, make follow-up calls, and document interactions in the electronic medical record
• schedule new and existing patient visits and referrals
• prepare patients for visits and send forms
• post payments, collect copays, check patients in and out, balance remittances, and prepare deposits
• obtain insurance authorizations and maintain referral logs. A high school diploma or equivalent and customer service, phone, computer, and organizational skills are required.
