Enrollment & Child Wellness Coordinator

Job overview

The Enrollment & Child Wellness Coordinator role is onsite in Hermiston, OR, with compensation of $23.18–$25.40 per hour. The coordinator supports Umatilla-Morrow County Head Start’s early childhood education programs and their children and families. The role coordinates health services, screenings, records, education, and follow-up while also supporting eligibility, recruitment, enrollment, and attendance processes. These responsibilities promote child well-being and help the program meet Head Start and other regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Coordinate medical and dental services, health protocols, hearing and vision screenings, growth assessments, and immunization reviews
• maintain health records in Child Plus
• inform program leaders of health concerns
• prepare reports
• support health education and family engagement
• assist with eligibility verification, recruitment, enrollment, attendance processing, and attendance tracking
• collaborate with classroom staff and family advocates.

Why this role
