The System Administrator role is onsite in Norfolk, VA. Compensation is not specified. The position supports the U.S. Navy with operational test and evaluation support for OPTEVFOR Cyber OT&E infrastructure, toolsets, and flyaway kits. The administrator installs, configures, secures, and maintains systems and accounts, and troubleshoots infrastructure and application issues. This work supports system availability, security, and operational test requirements during test events.

What you'll do

• Maintain physical and logical network security and data integrity
• administer computers across operating-system platforms
• manage backup and recovery under applicable DoD/DON guidance
• support standard operating procedures
• implement STIGs, patches, and updates
• install and rebuild servers
• maintain and validate master images and toolsets
• monitor systems and logs
• manage user accounts
• review security scans and remediate vulnerabilities
• maintain security posture
• report infrastructure status and administration work.
