What you'll do
- Oversee medical standards and quality of care
- set medical policies
- see patients and manage clinical practice
- review patient records and controlled-drug management
- address patient-care problems and complaints
- support compliance with state veterinary practice requirements, OSHA, and AAHA standards
- monitor and coach veterinarian performance
- mentor staff veterinarians
- interview DVM candidates
- identify service opportunities
- monitor performance indicators and work with the Hospital Manager on practice results.
