The Field Service Technician I works onsite in La Porte, TX, with field duties and paid two-week Academy training that may be out of state; training expenses are covered by the company. The technician performs field tasks involving hazardous-waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous-material handling. The role also supports sampling, equipment operation, inspections, safe waste loading and unloading, and compliance with safety and regulatory procedures.

What you'll do

  • Follow health and safety policies
  • perform physical field work
  • operate equipment and tools
  • use required personal protective equipment
  • assist with field sampling and meter calibration
  • inspect drums
  • load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely
  • conduct waste-stream sampling and profiling as needed
  • follow applicable regulations and operating procedures
  • attend safety meetings. Emergency-response on-call rotation and some weekend or holiday work are stated requirements.
