Floor Technician, Evening Shift

Job overview

The Floor Technician role is onsite at MUSC Charleston in Charleston, SC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.; some weekends are required. Pay is $15.00–$18.50 per hour. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry. The technician maintains and restores floor surfaces in a healthcare setting, using floor-care equipment and established procedures to support clean, safe facilities. The work includes hard-floor care as well as carpet and upholstery cleaning.

What you'll do

• Maintain hard-surface floors using stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing procedures.
• Operate industrial and automated floor-care equipment.
• Clean carpet and upholstery using shampooing, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming methods.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for different floor surfaces and follow safety procedures.
