Facility Manager — Recycling Operations

The Facility Manager — Recycling Operations role is onsite daily in Houston, TX, with minimal travel. The stated salary range is $85,000–$100,000 per year. The manager owns day-to-day operations at Outlast’s Houston facility and reports to the VP of Operations. Outlast uses technology to support recyclables trading and promotes recycling as an environmental benefit. The role leads safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations while building reliable processes, crew capability, and accurate inventory and transaction records. It contributes to improved throughput, cost, and uptime through operational discipline and measurable process improvements.

What you'll do

• Manage facility opening, security, deliveries, receiving, sorting, processing, and shipping
• inspect loads, operate the scale and equipment as needed, and serve customers
• ensure transactions and inventory records are entered accurately in the Outlast platform
• establish inventory reconciliation
• lead and develop the crew
• manage safety, training, compliance documentation, vendors, expenses, and preventive maintenance
• report KPIs and implement measurable workflow or process improvements.
