What you'll do

• Manage plant food safety and quality assurance programs
• lead the plant food safety team
• inspect and audit raw materials, production, packaging, distribution, HACCP, and GMP practices
• serve as SQF Practitioner and maintain the site’s SQF system
• develop HACCP plans and train personnel
• communicate with regulatory agencies
• maintain quality programs
• conduct pre-shipment reviews and microbiological tests
• investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions
• coordinate with plant and sanitation managers and vendors
• lead quality, waste-reduction, and efficiency initiatives
• identify production risks and mitigation strategies.
