Supervised Therapist — In-Home Family Mental Health

Job overview

The Supervised Therapist role is an in-person, full-time position serving Henry and Clayton counties, GA, and neighboring counties within an hour; pay is $30–$50 per hour. Georgia Families in Transition’s community-based mental health team provides services to children and adolescents at risk of out-of-home placement or returning from inpatient or residential treatment. The therapist provides consistent, intensive in-home counseling and skill-building to support children and families, coordinate care, and help restore or strengthen functioning through evidence-based, trauma-informed services.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and family counseling and mental health skill-building services
• coordinate care with a multidisciplinary treatment team
• participate in crisis intervention as needed
• meet agency productivity and documentation standards
• travel to client homes and community locations for in-person sessions
• accommodate after-school hours and weekends.
