The operator runs and sets up Bystronics press programs from prints, supports production and quality checks, and helps maintain a safe, clean work area. The role contributes to customer requirements through accurate production, inspection, documentation, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Operate presses and forklift trucks
• set up Bystronics programs based on prints
• interpret and respond to SPC control charts
• complete production and quality paperwork
• use calipers, micrometers, and other gauges
• visually inspect production and report quality or production problems
• participate in corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement projects
• use safety devices
• report completed jobs and request new work
• maintain a clean work environment.

Why this role
