The Lead Caregiver — Second Shift role is onsite in Bowdon, GA. Starting pay is $14.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on experience. Front Porch of Bowdon is a licensed senior living community serving more than 30 residents. The Lead Caregiver provides hands-on resident care while running the shift, coordinating assignments and breaks, training caregivers, ensuring charting and handoffs are completed, and serving as the first point of contact when issues arise. The role includes a shared weekend on-call rotation.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility support
• assign halls and cover breaks
• train and orient caregivers
• ensure charting and written handoffs are completed
• pass medications for assigned residents under Proxy Caregiver rules and maintain medication records
• coordinate weekend on-call coverage and fill in if needed
• observe and report resident changes
• respond to call lights
• maintain safe, clean areas
• support residents with dementia
• follow care plans, facility policies, and regulations.
