Teacher Assistant

The Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Macon, GA. Pay is $15.04–$16.72 per hour, depending on education and experience. The position supports children ages 3–5 and the Macon-Bibb County Economic Opportunity Council’s mission to reduce poverty by helping economically disadvantaged families achieve self-sufficiency. The assistant contributes to children’s learning and development by supporting teacher-child interactions, the learning environment, curriculum, assessment, and individual needs. The role also works with families and collaborates on professional growth and program activities.

Why this role
