What you'll do

• Assemble, recondition, bench, change, and clean tooling
• document process measurements
• use micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• resurface and clean dies with hand tools
• inspect dies for cracks, finish, and specification conformance
• assess wear and salvageability
• analyze defective parts and recommend modifications
• read blueprints
• maintain a clean work area
• and follow plant safety rules.
