The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Helper / Lube Technician role is onsite in Fresno, CA, with pay of $18–$20 per hour. Mid Valley Disposal is seeking a mechanically inclined candidate to learn heavy equipment maintenance alongside an experienced mechanic. The role supports preventive maintenance and repair of heavy and stationary equipment used in operations. By performing lubrication, fluid checks, inspections, cleaning, and parts assistance, the helper contributes to safe and dependable equipment operation while building maintenance skills.

What you'll do

• Perform oil and filter changes, lubrication, greasing, and fluid checks
• assist with scheduled preventive maintenance
• inspect equipment for leaks, worn components, damaged hoses, and loose hardware
• clean radiators and equipment components
• assist with parts removal and installation
• maintain tools and supplies
• follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures
• document maintenance performed as assigned.
