What you'll do

• Sort and identify received components and materials
• compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measurements against records
• inspect incoming goods and record damaged items or shortages
• identify inventory and supply items
• pick stored items for work orders and route them to departments
• move goods using a lift truck or hand truck
• process material transactions
• verify inventory balances and report discrepancies
• maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
