What you'll do

• Unload and sort incoming shipments and stock merchandise in designated areas
• keep back rooms and cooler/freezer areas organized
• stock grocery shelves by matching UPC codes to shelf tags and facing products
• count and record merchandise
• remove damaged, unsaleable, or returnable products and follow damage-claim procedures
• operate and maintain equipment safely
• monitor expiration dates and rotate ad items
• maintain clean and safe work areas
• follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures
• answer customer questions and address complaints as appropriate.
