Job overview

What you'll do

• Prepare meals using standardized recipes, physician-prescribed therapeutic diets, and production schedules
• follow long-term-care regulations and food safety standards
• portion and present meals
• monitor food temperatures
• clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment
• manage food storage and stock rotation using FIFO
• receive and store deliveries
• report equipment or safety concerns
• assist with special meals and resident-centered dining activities.
