What you'll do

• Provide care to patients and clients
• communicate with clients, doctors, and team members
• answer phones and route inquiries
• assist with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
• safely restrain animals using low-stress techniques
• administer medications, prepare vaccines, collect samples, and perform basic lab tests as directed
• enter treatment plans and maintain records
• educate clients on care instructions
• process charges and payments as needed
• keep exam rooms and treatment areas clean and stocked.
