Caregiver

Job overview

The Caregiver role is onsite in Aubrey, TX, with compensation of $14–$16 per hour. BrightStar Care of Denton provides home and facility assignments and describes its focus on employee support and work-life balance. The caregiver assists clients with personal care and mobility, accompanies them to appointments and errands, and observes and documents changes according to the plan of care. This work supports clients' daily needs and communicates relevant observations to the Director of Nursing.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits
• assist with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care
• document observed changes for the Director of Nursing.

Why this role

Part-time work is available in the Aubrey area, with flexible schedules and the ability to work up to 40 hours per week. Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of caregiver experience, a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle. Alzheimer’s or dementia experience is preferred.
