Civil Construction Project Manager

The Civil Construction Project Manager role is based in Richmond, VA, with work on construction sites in the Charlottesville and Lynchburg, VA areas. Pay is $38–$58 per hour. J+M Infrastructure performs utilities, site, and civil construction, including excavation, paving, concrete, water mains, sewer, and storm drainage. The role leads project budgets and schedules, oversees site work, and tracks changes and delays. It coordinates owners, vendors, subcontractors, field employees, and office staff to keep civil construction projects organized and on schedule.

What you'll do

• Manage project budgets and schedules
• oversee site work and track changes and delays
• prepare owner change orders and billings
• review subcontractor billings and vendor invoices
• perform material and quantity take-offs
• solicit and evaluate quotes
• create schedules with manpower and equipment requirements
• read plans and specifications
• and maintain estimating tools and project relationships.
