Regional Collector – Accounts Receivable

The Regional Collector – Accounts Receivable role is onsite in Sarasota, FL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $23–$24 per hour. The collector manages regional customer accounts and pursues past-due balances while maintaining professional customer relationships. The role investigates billing issues, secures payment commitments, documents collection activity, and coordinates with internal teams to resolve account problems and meet collection goals.

What you'll do

• Review accounts receivable aging reports
• contact commercial and residential customers about balances
• collect payments and secure commitments
• research invoices, payments, credits, and discrepancies
• respond to customer questions and provide account documents
• monitor payment arrangements and follow up on missed commitments
• document collection activity
• reconcile accounts
• coordinate with customer service, billing, sales, and regional staff
• prepare reports and communicate account status.
