Description
Initiates, monitors and maintains mechanically ventilated patients. Assists with placement of artificial airways. Performs and documents patient assessment including but not limited to breath sounds, airway patency and cuff pressure at least once per shift. Verifies and documents ventilator function and patient status q4h minimum.
