What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• take and record vital signs when ordered and competency requirements are met
• use safe transfer and ambulation techniques
• support exercises and ordered simple procedures within demonstrated competency
• do patient laundry
• use equipment safely
• teach home safety practices
• recognize emergencies
• follow care plans
• document care and report condition changes to the assigned nurse supervisor.
