The Grand Social Bartender – Holiday Season role is onsite in San Diego, CA. The hourly rate is $19. The bartender supports dining and private functions at Fairmont Grand Del Mar, a luxury resort with multiple dining venues. The bartender prepares and expedites cocktails and spirits selections while helping guests through a five-star dining experience. What you'll do

• Prepare bar mise en place, juices, garnishes, wine, and ice
• assist guests with seating and specialty cocktail and champagne service
• describe and serve menu offerings
• prepare cocktails for dining-room guests and private functions
• escort guests and beverages to assigned tables
• clean and break down service areas
• check identification for legal drinking age
• comply with food and beverage regulations.

Why this role

Requires two years of bar experience in a similar restaurant or bar environment, strong knowledge of spirits and wine, Food Handlers Card, and RBS Certification. High school or equivalent education is required.
