What you'll do

• Perform age-appropriate health screenings and well visits
• diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other disorders
• assess developmental milestones
• evaluate developmental or behavioral concerns and develop care plans
• educate and counsel parents and caregivers
• promote healthy lifestyles
• communicate with caregivers and other professionals on child welfare
• refer complex cases to pediatric subspecialists.
