The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Camden, NJ, with a Monday 10:30 a.m.–7 p.m. schedule and Tuesday–Friday 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. hours; compensation is $37,440–$41,370 per year. The role is part of the Osborn Family Health Center care team in an ambulatory patient-care setting. The assistant supports providers and patients through clinical tasks, documentation, room preparation, testing, and care coordination. The role contributes to quality, cost-effective care and improved individual and population health.

What you'll do

• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies
• greet and escort patients
• document medical information and vital signs
• perform age-appropriate wellness, hearing, and eye exams
• assist providers and serve as a chaperone when needed
• prepare medical records
• participate in care-team huddles
• administer vaccines and PPDs and perform in-office testing within the state CMA scope of practice
• support medication refill management as directed
• assist with scheduling, telephone calls, check-in, and check-out
• maintain HIPAA compliance.

Why this role
