The Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician — Day Shift role is onsite in Chantilly, VA. Compensation is $26–$68 per hour. Veterinary Emergency Group’s hospitals provide emergency veterinary care and aim to help people and their pets when they need it most. The technician supports emergency cases through triage, nursing care, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care. Working with doctors and the hospital team, the role helps deliver timely clinical care and emotional support to pets and their people.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage through discharge
• administer medications and monitoring, including IVs, CRIs, and transfusions
• assist with diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement
• perform anesthesia
• use advanced techniques such as central lines, endoscopy, and ultrasound
• perform CPR as trained
• collaborate with doctors and the team.

Why this role

State veterinary technician credential (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) is required. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required on a rotating or as-needed basis despite the day-shift title.
