What you'll do

• Manage and supervise kitchen staff, interns, and volunteers
• oversee food preparation and cooking
• develop menus that meet nutrition requirements and accommodate allergies and cultural preferences
• prepare meals and snacks on schedule
• maintain portion control and minimize waste
• manage inventory, ordering, and storage
• keep meal, inventory, and expense records for CACFP reporting
• document dietary needs and meal modifications
• ensure food handling, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness
• maintain equipment and report maintenance issues.
