The role exists to monitor, classify, and escalate security and operational events in a 24/7 environment. Accurate triage, documentation, and coordination help the team respond to incidents and meet performance targets.

What you'll do

• Monitor mission-essential communication sites and information systems onsite
• classify, prioritize, and escalate alerts
• follow procedures for data collection, triage, analysis, and escalation
• capture, log, respond to, and document events from email, chat, voice, and other systems
• distinguish valid issues from false positives
• help refine playbooks, dashboards, metrics, and detection strategies
• coordinate with stakeholders and assist with network and security incidents as directed.
