Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator, CNA Training

The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator role is based onsite in Horseheads, NY, with travel to training locations. Pay is $38–$40 per hour. The educator leads the hands-on and clinical portions of Elcor’s three-week CNA hybrid training program after students complete the first week online. The RN educator prepares future nursing assistants for clinical work by coordinating orientation, teaching skills, assessing competency needs, and maintaining training records. The role supports staff development and clinical practice at Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and facilitate orientation for new nursing staff and patient-care team members
• develop and deliver classroom and clinical training
• maintain American Heart Association BLS Instructor certification and provide emergency-response education
• assess educational and competency needs
• maintain attendance and training records in line with regulatory standards and NYSDOH requirements
• support CNA learning through modules, simulations, demonstrations, and hands-on instruction.
