Travel Nurse (RN or LVN)

The Travel Nurse (RN or LVN) role is an onsite, full-time 12-week renewable contract in Gallup, NM, with 12-hour shifts. Pay is $35–$40 per hour for LVNs and $45–$50 per hour for RNs, plus a housing stipend. Gallup Nursing & Rehabilitation serves residents in long-term care with a stated commitment to excellent care. The nurse supports resident care and clinical outcomes by providing direct care when needed, administering medications and treatments, carrying out physician orders as permitted, and overseeing nursing staff during the shift. The role also assesses staff performance, holds shift meetings, and updates the Director of Nursing.

What you'll do

• Oversee nursing personnel during the assigned shift
• support high-quality clinical outcomes and resident and family satisfaction
• provide direct resident care when required
• administer medications and treatments according to facility policy
• receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders as permitted by the Nurse Practice Act
• assess nursing staff performance
• conduct shift staff meetings and update the Director of Nursing.
