The Blue Team Lead / Senior Cyber Defense Analyst role is onsite in Fort Bragg, NC. Compensation is not specified. The position supports the U.S. Army Reserve Defensive Cyberspace Operations Mission Support Services effort, defending Army Reserve information systems across NIPRNet and SIPRNet. As the single point of accountability for two Blue Team task areas, the lead directs network security monitoring, detection, analysis, incident response, and integrated assessments. The role coordinates operational coverage and escalations, guides senior analysis and threat hunting, and mentors analysts to support continuous cyber defense.

What you'll do

• Lead Blue Team network security monitoring, detection, analysis, and incident response across NIPRNet and SIPRNet
• maintain 24/7/365 watch coverage
• lead Tier 3 analysis, hypothesis-driven hunts, and detection-signature development
• coordinate signature submissions with the CTI cell and ARCYBER signature working group
• own incident categorization and reporting under CJCSM 6510.01B
• direct shift schedules, handoffs, and surge staffing
• direct integrated assessments including Network Assistance Visits and Network Damage Assessments
• serve as escalation point to ARCYBER, the supported Regional Cyber Center, JFHQ-DoDIN, and law enforcement/counterintelligence
• mentor and quality-control Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts
• oversee DCWF qualification compliance and Blue Team performance thresholds.
