The Manual Machinist – Lathe & Mill role is an onsite position based in Santee, CA, with a pay range of $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. This full-time role supports the manufacturing operations of the client facility. The role exists to produce high-quality parts from start to finish using manual lathes and mills. The machinist is responsible for interpreting drawings, setting up parts, choosing correct tooling, and ensuring all finished products meet print specifications.

What you'll do

• Produce high-quality parts under minimal supervision from start to finish.
• Read, interpret, and understand technical drawings.
• Set up parts, including making custom tooling and soft jaws.
• Choose correct tooling and set appropriate feeds and speeds.
• Machine parts to print and perform inspections using calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
