What you'll do

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus, prescribed diet plans, portion standards, and facility procedures
• clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
• distribute menus and verify meal trays
• store food and supplies properly
• follow sanitation, safety, infection-control, and residents’ rights requirements
• assist with Dietary Aide supervision
• process diet changes and maintain menus
• coordinate dietary services
• manage food inventory
• participate in training and staff meetings
• assist with new-staff orientation.
