What you'll do

• Interview patients and perform physical examinations
• obtain and review medical histories
• administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results
• document care and sign charts within 72 hours of encounters
• counsel patients on therapeutic regimens
• develop and implement patient management plans
• maintain a safe and clean environment
• support patients in easing pain while avoiding further injury
• follow infection-control policies and applicable professional requirements.
