What you'll do

• Inspect motors and components
• disassemble equipment and document winding data
• remove old windings
• repair cores
• size and wind coils
• insert, wedge, and tie wire
• use shop tools and machinery for repair
• perform and document electrical and mechanical tests
• dip and bake windings
• clean varnish from components
• coordinate work priorities
• maintain equipment and a clean, safe work area.
