What you'll do

• Interview patients and families to assess ability to pay and eligibility for assistance
• verify insurance eligibility and benefits and obtain pre-authorizations
• calculate and explain out-of-pocket costs, deductibles, copays, and good faith estimates
• guide patients through Medicaid, Medicare, state, and charity care applications
• establish payment plans and collect point-of-service payments
• maintain insurance, financial agreement, and patient records in the EHR.
