The Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant - Trained role is onsite in Eau Claire, MI. Wages start at $19.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening coverage and no holidays or weekends. InterCare is a Federally Qualified Health Center focused on equal access to quality health care. The medical assistant supports providers and the patient care team with clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory, patient-centered medical home setting. The role helps deliver patient assessment, treatment, and follow-up care, supports patient flow, and connects patients and families with community resources.

What you'll do

• Support providers with clinical tasks
• screen and prepare patients for examinations, procedures, or treatments
• assist providers as needed
• discharge patients with provider-identified education and follow-up instructions
• perform competency-assessed clinical procedures
• conduct and document in-house laboratory testing and quality control
• administer immunizations and medications according to policy
• participate in pre-visit planning and daily huddles
• support operational duties and community resource referrals.
