Manager, Community Service

Job overview

The Manager, Community Service is a hybrid role with three days onsite in San Francisco, CA. The salary range is $75,000–$130,000 per year. LightHouse’s mission is to promote independence, community, and equity with and for blind and low-vision people. The working manager supervises Adult Program service providers while maintaining a caseload and coordinating programs, events, and volunteer services. The role helps deliver accessible community programming, strengthen partnerships, and ensure grant, attendance, reporting, and budget responsibilities are met.

What you'll do

• Maintain an adult program caseload at 49% of work time
• develop and implement programs at LightHouse campuses and in the community
• plan and coordinate adult programs with Rehab and Connections teams
• build relationships with community organizations, partners, and sponsors
• support volunteer participation and retention
• coordinate event logistics and communications
• manage attendance records and reporting
• ensure grant compliance and deliverables
• supervise Community Services and Volunteer Services teams
• conduct staff reviews
• oversee budgets and administrative deadlines
• enter service data and submit monthly reporting, billing, and reimbursements.
