The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Arnold, MD. Compensation is $19–$21 per hour. Allergy & Asthma Associates provides specialized allergy and asthma care to the Arnold community. The role supports physicians and clinical staff with examinations, allergy procedures, patient records, room preparation, scheduling, education, specimens, referrals, and authorizations. Its purpose is to help deliver coordinated, patient-focused specialty care.

What you'll do

• Assist with examinations and allergy/asthma procedures
• administer allergy injections and perform skin testing under provider supervision
• update histories, vital signs, and chief complaints in the EHR
• prepare exam rooms
• schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• educate patients
• handle specimens, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed.
