The role exists to organize and facilitate activities that promote resident wellness and a supportive, enjoyable lifestyle. It contributes by tailoring programs to residents’ individual social, emotional, recreational, spiritual, educational, and physical needs, while coordinating activities, transportation, volunteers, and staff.

What you'll do

• Plan and facilitate resident activity programs
• complete each resident’s My Life Story with the resident or family
• provide or arrange coverage for activities across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• create monthly activity calendars
• manage the department budget, supplies, inventory, and equipment
• coordinate transportation and volunteer programs
• collaborate with department heads and supervise Life Enrichment Assistants.

Why this role

The activity program is expected to include morning, afternoon, and evening activities seven days a week, year-round. Weekend Manager on Duty service may be required.
