Ink Technician — Third Shift

The Ink Technician — Third Shift role is onsite in Winston-Salem, NC, working 10:45 PM–7:00 AM. Compensation is $19.80 per hour plus a 7% shift differential. The technician supports press operations by preparing and maintaining production inks and related materials. The role prepares inks, adhesives, primers, and lacquers and supplies them to press operators. It supports production needs by monitoring materials, maintaining an organized ink room, and handling and disposing of hazardous waste according to safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Mix and prepare inks for production runs

• monitor material availability and usage
• maintain a clean ink room
• identify and dispose of hazardous waste in designated containers
• label containers with hazard information
• follow safety procedures and support production needs.

Why this role

Previous machine operation experience and a high school diploma or GED are required. Ink room experience is preferred but not required. The role requires moving 400-pound drums with a dolly and regularly lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
