What you'll do

• Splice and maintain new and existing fiber
• prepare and splice single-mode and multi-mode cables
• terminate fiber
• test using OTDR, OLTS, power meters, and VFL
• install splice capsules and hardware
• perform mid-sheath entries and active-network splicing
• troubleshoot outages and repair damaged cables
• document project progress and testing
• maintain splice equipment, trailers, and vehicles
• follow safety standards.
