Grain Operations Technician, Tier 1

What you'll do

• Perform facility and equipment maintenance
• manage grain flow into the elevator and loading into trucks or rail cars at applicable sites
• monitor stored grain and maintain its condition through aeration or turning
• clean and prepare grain bins and ground piles
• load and unload grain
• inspect grain for irregularities and perform bin measurements as needed
• use Lockout-Tagout procedures
• operate site equipment such as loaders, forklifts, and lawnmowers
• maintain operational data and records
• follow safety and environmental requirements and report accidents or injuries.
