What you'll do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, electrical equipment, and plant power systems
• use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and guidance to plan work
• diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• inspect and service motors, controls, wiring, bearings, brushes, and commutators
• replace defective parts and validate operation with electrical measuring devices
• perform preventive maintenance
• track and replenish electrical supplies
• document maintenance activities
• report faulty equipment and unusual conditions
• recommend reliability and efficiency improvements
• follow safety policies and maintain an orderly work area.
