Patient Transporter

The Patient Transporter role is onsite at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Compensation is $15.25–$15.50 per hour. The position supports internal patient moves at the hospital. The role contributes to patient comfort and coordinates with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians, reception, and dispatch.

What you'll do

• Safely transport patients using wheelchairs and other approved equipment
• secure patients and associated equipment
• communicate with clinical and dispatch staff
• attend to patient comfort and modesty
• alert nursing staff to distress or equipment problems
• maintain equipment and report repair needs
• follow regulatory standards and confidentiality and patient-rights policies.
